Terms of Service

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Echoback ("the Service"), operated by Chromoly Labs, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    2. Account Responsibilities

    • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
    • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
    • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

    3. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to use the Service to:

    • Submit fake, fraudulent, or misleading feedback or reviews
    • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
    • Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
    • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
    • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission

    4. Subscriptions & Billing

    Echoback offers paid subscription plans. New accounts include a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial expires, a paid subscription is required to continue using the dashboard and syncing features. Widgets and feedback forms remain active for an additional 7-day grace period after trial expiry.

    • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
    • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

    5. Intellectual Property

    Your content: You retain full ownership of all feedback, reviews, and other content associated with your account. We do not claim ownership of your content.

    Our service: The Echoback platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Chromoly Labs, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

    6. Widget Embeds

    By generating and embedding Echoback widgets on your website, you grant us a limited license to serve your approved feedback content through our widget infrastructure. This license exists solely to deliver the widget functionality and terminates when you remove the widget or delete your account.

    7. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account, or by contacting us at support@echoback.co.

    Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

    8. Disclaimers

    The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chromoly Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

    11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
